Project Overview: This project is a domestic sewage treatment plant under the large state-owned enterprises in Guangdong Province. The daily processing capacity is 30,000 tons/day. Construction started in July 2009 and it was officially put into operation in June 2010. The sewage has been unable to meet standards (local drainage standard requires that the number of E. coli in the drain must be less than 10,000 units, and the amount of E. coli monitored by the sewage plant on the drain is 20,000 units per day. The sewage plant has been ordered to be rectified several times by the environmental protection department. Towin teamed up with Toshiba Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection of the wastewater treatment plant. The cause analysis proposed a series of improvement measures and helped them achieve rectification.
