Description
The MPUV series of TOWIN’s UV sterilizer is a split type medium pressure UV water treatment sterilization equipment. It provides an effective safety barrier for source water and UV disinfection of harmful pathogens by using medium-pressure UV sterilizer. These include bacteria, viruses and Chlorella-resistant protozoa such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. It is a chemical-free physical process that produces zero disinfection by-products. Medium-pressure UV sterilizer are more cost effective than ozone or membranes.

Sterilization of drinking water: 1cm UV transmittance (T254): 95%~100%; when the original water quality is lower than the national drinking water standard (chromaticity higher than 15 degrees, turbidity higher than 5 degrees, iron content is higher than 0.3 mg / liter), it should be used pre-treatment method to meet the conditions of use of the equipment.
Aquaculture water sterilization: fresh water and seawater filtered by sand filtration or other treatment.
Sewage: According to the sterilization requirements, the water quality of the disinfection equipment is 1cm (T254): ≥40%; the other requirements is meeting the secondary standard of the National Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard GB8978-1996.
If the water quality, needs to be disinfected, cannot meet the above requirements. It should be properly pretreated, such as flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, etc.Methods to remove various impurities in the water.
